Contract Energy Management Implemented in Mining Zone: Solar Energy Replaces Boilers at Zero Cost

    In May 2013, Dazhong Daily, one of Shandong Province’s most influential mainstream newspapers, featured Aikte Energy Conservation in its Shandong Energy special edition. The article highlighted Aikte’s contract energy management (EMC) project at the Juncheng Coal Mine.

    The project introduced Aikte’s self-integrated solar water heating system using a “zero investment, phased return” model. This system fully replaced traditional steam boilers for employee hot water needs, saving RMB 470,000 in annual operating costs. The initiative significantly reduced energy consumption and advanced the site’s transition to a cleaner energy structure.

    As one of the earliest EMC demonstration projects in mine-site residential facilities, it delivered strong energy savings and replicable value, demonstrating Aikte’s technical capabilities in executing effective retrofits without requiring client-side capital investment.
